DIY: Winter SPA treatment

We all know how this cold winter days can afflict our skin. So a treatment that smoothens and nurtures our skin is always welcome. Do you remember the old legends about Cleopatra and how she always bathed in milk? Well, maybe we can do it too from now on!

This DIY I found on a very cool site called Flamingotoes, is the perfect ladies gift this christmas. It's handmade, cute, it smells good and it's really helpful too.

All you need for the treatment is cornstarch, dry milk, oatmeal and tea (loose or teabags). Furthermore you need a tiny glass, various fabrics and ribbons and cute christmas stickers. Make sure the glasses are completely clean, I put them in boiling water.

For every tiny glass you mix:
- five spoons of dry milk,
- one spoon of cornstarch,
- 1,5 spoons of oatmeal and
- three teabags (or 1,5 spoons of loose tea.)

La miscela per ogni contenitore é:
- cinque cucchiai di latte in polvere
- un cucchiaio di amido
- un cucchiaio e mezzo di avena e
- tre bustine (o due cucchiai) di té.

Since I filled more glasses I mixed everything in a big bowl.

Io ho mischiato tutto in una bacinella.

When you're finished mixing the ingredients, make sure the glass is completely dry and but the treatment in it. Now it's decorating time, use the fabrics and the ribbons to create a nice wrapping. The presentee can put two teaspoons of the treatment in the bathtub or use it like a peeling. If you want, you also can put a label on it that says what the present is, and how to use it.

Since I am crafting like crazy, you will definitely see more tutorials before christmas, but for further inspirations just look at my previous DIY's here!
